ABOUT US

The development of Sanillés is supported by an advisory panel and management group of many people. The International Therapeutic Institue of Catalunya (ITIC) was formed in 1992 as the vehicle for the provision of the social benefit services underlying this initiative. The Foundation has patrons with a strong interest in the health care objectives. Read more on ITIC

The key promoters of the Sanillés project are Dr. Nadya Coates and Hugh Lancelot Coates.

Dr. Nadya Coates has experience in the nutritional sciences, microbiology, neurophisiology and endocrinology. She has been the catalyst for bringing together the members of the Patronat of the Foundation who negotiated the purchase of the Sanillés. She continues to be integrally involved with the organisation and development of the charitable work and guiding the management group in its ethical stance. Her experience in the food industry combing nutritional science and food technology are of immense value to this project. Dr Coates also makes in-depth connections with her intuitive insights and caring manner. She brings connections from the medical, scientific and philosophical circles across the world.

Hugh Lancelot Coates, as a Chartered Surveyor, brings the combination of training and experience in economics, law, valuation, building construction, agriculture and forestry. He is involved in strategic planning and financial monitoring as well as putting in place the legal structuring for bringing about a consortium of investors within the charitable or business sectors.
